SERVICE REQUESTS
Simply making any kind of inquiry on our website by email, the request form, the contact us form, etc. will not create any kind of binding catering contract. Our service will only be secured when we receive the booking fee. Quotes and estimates are subject to change based on the day the deposit is made.
SERVICE CHARGE, GRATUITY & SALES TAX
A Service Charge is added for processing and operational expenses. These expenses include insurance, overhead, time used while planning your event, labor utilized to prepare for your event, washing, restocking, etcetera. Depending on the event and guests, we may add AUTOMATIC GRATUITY to the total. If you have more than 75 guests you will get an option of either getting host gratuity or guest gratuity. If the host does not want us to display a tip jar, we will add a service charge to the total cost. By law, sales tax must be applied to all food, beverages, rentals, and delivery charges when combined on one contract.
EXPEDITED FEE AND HOLIDAY FEE
Up to an additional 25% fee of the invoice estimate will be added for deposits made within 7 business days from the event. Up to an additional 25% fee of the total invoice estimate will be added for events on holidays and holiday weekends (Friday - Sunday).
BOOKING FEE POLICY AND PAYMENT
A non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of the total contract value is required to secure a date and price. The final event balance is due at the end of the event. Address all payments to Likwid. A service fee of 1.5% of the total contract value will be assessed if Client does not meet the final payment deadline. All retainer fees remitted to Likwid are non-refundable, non-transferable, and shall be retained by Likwid. Likwid accepts payments via Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, Cash App, or cash. Final Payment must be received at the end of the event. IMPORTANT: if for some reason the client would like to pay later, a contract must be signed at the end of the event to make sure Likwid LLC gets paid within 3-5 days.
CANCELLATION POLICY
There are no cancellations due to weather and the booking fee is non-refundable. We will provide service rain or shine. Moreover, the FULL booking fee is non-refundable.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
We will provide service regardless of weather conditions (ex – rain or shine, high winds, extreme heat or cold, etc) and inclement conditions will not result in any discounts, abatements or price reductions. In the event of inclement weather, clients with outdoor events shall provide overhead shelter for the set-up area. We reserve the right to stop or cancel service should the weather pose a potential danger to the crew, the bar or guests. Every effort will be made to continue service, including taking extra reasonable breaks in the event of extreme heat. However, safety is paramount in all decisions. No contractual obligations, including compensation, will not be affected by such cancellation.
RESCHEDULING
In the event of cancellation within 2 weeks of the event, it is within our exclusive discretion to reschedule the date and time and/or apply deposit money already paid.
FINAL GUEST COUNT
Guest count must be finalized 10 days prior to the event date. After that time, you are welcome to add items to your order and we will do our best to accommodate your requests depending on time and product constraints, but no reductions will be allowed after the final payment is processed. On the day of the event, if the guest count is more than estimated the Client is responsible for paying for the additional guests exceeding the guaranteed guest count and we are not responsible for supply and ingredient shortages.
LATE CHANGES AND REQUESTS
Likwid will do what is reasonably possible to accommodate late changes and requests. A surcharge of up to five percent (5%) will be assessed for changes that are received less than seven (7) business days before the event. Note: Late changes could compromise the quality of results. Client assumes the risk of impact.
TRASH / CLEANING
It is Client's responsibility to provide trash and recycling bins for trash accumulated from the event. We are NOT a cleaning service team. It is the client's responsibility to provide a professional cleaning team before, during, and after event that includes trash hauling and takedown.
TRAVEL FEE
In order to offset the cost of transportation, our invoices and proposals will include a travel fee which may vary depending on current fuel costs and distance traveled. We will travel up to 10 miles for free from Los Angeles, CA 90012. An estimate of the miles for travel will be provided for inquiry until an exact location is provided. Once we receive exact mileage, any additional mileage will be added to final invoice.
SET UP & BREAKDOWN
We will be ready to serve at the start time agreed upon (NOT one minute earlier). We advise permitting access to the venue at least 3 hours before the scheduled service time and 30 minutes - 1 hour after for cleanup and breakdown. Liquor must be available 3 hours prior to the start of the event. We will not be responsible for a delayed service start time if the client, his or her representative, Event Coordinator, Event Planner etc., fails to provide adequate space, direct access, supplies and ingredients, or fails to disclose the presence of stairs or steps.
BARTENDING / STAFFING SERVICE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT
The client is responsible for making sure a reasonably safe, secure, level, shaded and spacious area will be made available for, and accessible by Likwid. All permit requirements for outdoor service (ie. parks, beaches, public areas) are the client’s responsibility. All parking fees and entrance fees for all staff are the client’s responsibility. All fees will be added to final invoice for reimbursement.
Unless agreed otherwise, we will provide at least 3 hours of service. Likwid bartenders will ID guests that appear under the age of 30, and reserve the right to deny service to guests who appear to be intoxicated. Likwid accepts no responsibility for alcohol once provided to an adult of legal age. Any alcohol that is provided to a guest of legal age becomes the responsibility of the served adult. If Likwid 's staff sees drinks left unattended, they will immediately be disposed of for the safety and welfare of underage guests. Likwid reserves the right to cease service of alcoholic beverages if persons under the legal drinking age are present at the event and attempt to receive service of alcoholic beverages. In the event, a bar is shut down due to safety or legal reasons resulting from the actions of Client's guests, temporarily or for the entire evening, no refunds for bar service will be provided to Client. All alcohol must be provided by the Client.
ADDITIONAL HOURS
If on the day of the event additional hours are requested that exceed the contracted time frame, the client will be charged time and a half of the hourly rate, payable the day of the event and/or doubled for holiday services per staff. Any discounts originally offered do no apply to extensions. Whether or not the additional time is granted is completely within our discretion and may be denied if it’s deemed to be not feasible. A rate increase for work over 8 hours (including setup and breakdown) will be charged time and a half and doubled for holidays/holiday weekends. Our team will be entitled to a 30 min break for services over 6 hours (including setup and breakdown). Our team will be entitled to a second break for services over 10 hours.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY
Likwid LLC will photograph and/or record their work at the event to use on their social media and/or any other publication. Please inform us before the event if photos and/or videos are not allowed. We will not remove any photos and/or videos of the event once they have been posted on any social media and/or publication. A fee of $5,000 will be required to remove any photos and/or videos from each social media and/or publication. In addition, any other third-party fees will be the responsibility of the client. Copyright Ownership. In the event that any copyrighted work(s) are created as a result of the services provided by Likwid in accordance with this Agreement, Likwid owns all copyrights in any and all work(s) it creates or produces pursuant to federal copyright law (Title 17, Chapter 2, Section 201-02 of the United States Code), whether registered or unregistered. Any and all products, whether tangible or intangible, produced or created in connection with, or in the process of fulfilling this Agreement, are expressly and solely owned by Likwid and may be used in the reasonable course of Likwid's business.
WORK PLACE SAFETY / THREATS TO SAFETY
If at any time there is any threat or implied threat of injury or harm to any of our staff or any equipment, we reserve the right to cease service. If the client is unable to resolve the threatening situation within a maximum of 30 minutes, we reserve the right to cease service altogether. Client shall be responsible for payment in full, regardless of whether or not the situation is resolved or whether or not we resume service. In order to prevent equipment damage or liability arising from accidental injury to any individual attending this event, we reserve the right to deny any guest service.
